What data we collect and why
Availability requests. When you fill in the request form you give us your first name, surname, email address, phone number (optional), dates of stay, number of guests, age of children and any notes you choose to add. We use this data only to answer your request and send you an offer. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data reaches us by email and is not stored in the website database. The same applies if you email or phone us directly.
Browsing data. As with any website, the server hosting the site records some data about your visit for technical and security reasons (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type). This data is not used to identify you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the operation and security of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies
The site uses only technical cookies that are necessary for it to work. It uses neither profiling cookies nor visitor analytics tools.
Third-party content
Some pages display content loaded from external services, which receive your IP address in order to provide it:
- the weather forecast at the bottom of the pages is provided by the Weather Service of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano;
- the map on the Contact page is provided by OpenStreetMap.
The fonts are hosted on our own site and are not loaded from external services. The reference to Facebook is a plain link: no data is transmitted until you open it.
Who receives the data
The data is processed by us and by the providers we need to run the website and email (hosting and email provider: Aruba S.p.A., Italy), appointed as data processors. We do not sell or pass your data on to third parties and we do not transfer it outside the European Union.
How long we keep the data
We keep requests for as long as needed to handle them. If a request leads to a booking, the data is kept for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for the periods required by tax and public-security law.
Your rights
You may at any time ask us for access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object to processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR) by writing to info@villa-aylin.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
